Label Stock Materials
LABEL STOCKS
What is BOPP exactly? BOPP stands for biaxially-oriented polypropylene. It’s a variant of polypropylene (PP), a thermoplastic polymer. It’s an ideal printing surface and can be made into labels and stickers.
BOPP is essentially polypropylene that’s stretched flat. BOPP is oriented with a system that stretches it in two directions along both the width and length of your label. This is where the “biaxially-oriented (BO)” part of BOPP comes from. The result is a material with superior strength at low gauges (thicknesses), flatness, clarity, and has excellent printability.
White BOPP
White BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) is made from a synthetic polymer that has an excellent resistance to water, oil, chemicals, and UV exposure. BOPP material is food safe and is environmentally friendly. This label stock is used for labels that require durability, moisture resistance, and vibrant printing. Its white color provides a clean and professional appearance, making it a popular choice for many businesses.
Has a subtle, pearly-white finish.
Waterproof, tearproof, and oil-resistant.

Clear BOPP
A clear, transparent, self-adhesive label stock made of polypropylene. May be exposed to water and oil. Great for showcasing vivid artwork and draws attention to the packaging and/or the product inside the packaging.
Can be stored in a refrigerated environment. BOPP material is food safe and is environmentally friendly.
Has a crystal-clear finish

Tree-Free Clear BOPP
Tree-Free Clear BOPP is an eco-friendly label material made from alternative fibers like bamboo, bagasse, or cotton, without the use of traditional wood-based pulp from trees.

Silver Metallic BOPP
Silver Metallic BOPP gives you the option to create any color foil on your labels. This method of foil printing provides you with a brilliant foil look without the high-cost of hot foil or cold foil stamping. A reflective, eye-catching self-adhesive label stock made of polypropylene.
May be exposed to water and oil and can be stored in a refrigerated environment. BOPP material is food safe and is environmentally friendly. We recommend using a matte lamination overlay for finishing.

Brushed Metallic BOPP
